Our design team works across global markets, creating retail packaging and e-commerce design assets for international brands, retail partners, and Amazon product lines across multiple categories.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging Designer with strong knowledge of print production, compliance standards, and e-commerce packaging design.
Role Overview
The Packaging Designer will create retail and e-commerce packaging artworks that follow brand guidelines, compliance requirements, and print specifications.
You will work closely with buying, marketing, and design teams to deliver print-ready packaging files, dielines, and e-commerce-ready visuals for global brands.
Key Responsibilities
Packaging Design
• Create packaging artworks, dielines, labels, and print-ready files
• Design packaging for boxes, sleeves, hangtags, inserts, pouches, and cartons
• Maintain accuracy in barcodes, warnings, recycle marks, CE/UKCA icons, age grading, and legal text
• Ensure print accuracy, typography hierarchy, and brand consistency
E-commerce Design
• Design packaging optimized for Amazon and online marketplaces
• Translate product features into clear and conversion-focused layouts
• Create supporting creatives such as icons, infographics, mockups, and A+ assets when required
Compliance & Artwork Accuracy
• Follow printer specifications and regional compliance requirements
• Ensure proper barcode placement, GTIN logic, safety icons, and mandatory statements
• Update artworks based on QC and compliance feedback
Collaboration
• Work with marketing and buying teams to interpret briefs
• Coordinate with copywriters, suppliers, printers, and QC teams
Asset Management
• Maintain organized design files, layer structures, templates, and version control
• Manage multiple packaging projects simultaneously
Requirements
Technical Skills
• Expert in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of dielines, print processes, typography, and colour management
• Familiarity with AI creative tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Envato Elements, Gemini, etc.)
• No Canva workflows
Experience
• 2 years experience in Packaging Design
• Background in e-commerce, retail, or FMCG packaging
• Experience working with compliance-heavy categories (baby, toys, home & kitchen, electronics, outdoor products) is a plus
Creative Skills
• Strong layout and typography sense
• Ability to transform product USPs into clear, premium packaging designs
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
