Summary
As a Salesforce AI Engineer, you will play a key role as a hands-on technical architect working on Salesforce implementations with a strong focus on AI-driven development and emerging technologies. You will support technical leads in defining scalable architecture, ensuring high-quality delivery, and leveraging AI tools to improve developer productivity and solution efficiency.
This role is ideal for professionals on the CTA path who are passionate about Generative AI, intelligent automation, and modern Salesforce development practices. You will contribute to solution design, guide development teams, and act as a technical advisor across multiple workstreams while ensuring adherence to Salesforce best practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
Support architecture definition and actively contribute to technical design discussions.
Design, develop, and review Salesforce technical components including Apex, integrations, Flows, and Lightning Web Components.
Leverage AI-based engineering tools such as Copado AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Agentforce Vibes, or similar platforms to accelerate development and improve code quality.
Experiment with Generative AI tools for automation, code optimization, testing support, and documentation.
Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and QA teams to ensure technical alignment.
Design and deliver Salesforce implementations for enterprise-grade customers using standard Salesforce products.
Recommend optimal technical solutions for business requirements and clearly articulate trade-offs.
Ensure solutions are scalable and compliant with Salesforce governor limits.
Incorporate non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, maintainability, and technical debt management.
Build and present proofs of concept (POCs) for AI-enabled and advanced technical use cases.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
Ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards, architectural principles, and deployment best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills
Must Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Technical Architecture.
Experience across multiple Salesforce Clouds such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
Excellent Technical Skills With Hands-on Experience In
- Apex
- Triggers
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Flows
- Integrations (REST/SOAP, platform events, external services)
Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Copado AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar.
Strong understanding of Salesforce design patterns and development best practices.
Ability to evaluate and implement AI-assisted development approaches within enterprise environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Collaborative mindset with a strong interest in emerging technologies.
Certifications Required
Salesforce Platform Developer I – Mandatory
Salesforce Platform Developer II – Mandatory
Salesforce AI Associate – Mandatory
Salesforce Agentforce Specialist – Desirable
Salesforce System Architect or Application Architect

Additional Information
8–10 years of overall Salesforce experience.
Exposure to enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.
15 years of full-time education is required.
