Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Coordinate release management activities ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- Experience in customizing and extending Oracle applications using the Oracle Application Framework.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management including configuration, deployment, and support.
- Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party services within packaged or SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with low-code development platforms to accelerate solution delivery.
- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues to maintain system stability.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Application Framework (OAF).
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
