Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and reliability of the systems. The engineer works with various standard tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility and optimal performance. Collaboration with different teams to understand needs and implement effective solutions is a key part of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain system health.
- Document configuration changes and maintain clear records to support knowledge sharing.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding application functionalities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot.
- Experience in developing and maintaining scalable applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and release processes.
- Familiarity with integration of APIs and working with low-code platforms to enhance application capabilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and stability.
- Knowledge of software configuration management and version control systems.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Spring Boot.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
