The Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University invites applications for a renewable one-year non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Cybersecurity. The responsibilities of the position will be teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in cybersecurity and engaging/supervising student experiential learning activities in cybersecurity. The position will be mainly based on our NYC campus but can be expected to teach on Pleasantville Campus as well.
The School has been offering both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. Pace University is also a designated Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense by the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. Pace students have participated in various cybersecurity experiential learning activities in addition to their regular cyber defense academic path. Specifically, the Pace Cyber Team has been participating regularly in the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition, National Cyber League and ISACA’s Cybersecurity Business Case Competition over the past several years. In addition, Pace University supports a local chapter for Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) and many students participated in WiCyS annual conference. Students have participated in activities and research projects in cybersecurity related labs such as Cyber Range, Industrial Control Systems Security Lab and Digital Forensics Lab.
Successful candidates for this position will reflect the School’s commitment to excellence in teaching and service. Industry experience is a plus although not required.

Requirements
A successful candidate should have strong communication skills and a willingness to work as a team. A Master’s degree, a doctoral candidate or a candidate who already has a doctoral degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferable. Experience in network security, system administration, operating systems, cloud security, knowledge of programming, the use of AI in Cybersecurity, and the security of AI is particularly desirable.
Prior university-level teaching experience is highly valued with demonstrated success in both traditional classroom and online teaching pedagogies.
The position will require work on assessment and curriculum design.
