Finish Operator (2nd shift)

Employee will perform all operations required to support customer needs.   Must be able and willing to fill in and support any and all other class operations when a demand is needed.  Must have the willingness to learn new operations as needed.

Employee needs to have a general knowledge of CNC machining and a basic understanding of the machines functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

This job includes but is not limited to the following:

• Must be able to follow instructions in the operation of CNC equipment.

• Must assure the quality of parts machined using measuring equipment and devices.

• Operate forklift in safe manner.

• Work in a safe manner, so not to endanger self or co-workers. Report unsafe conditions.

• Capable and willing to work overtime.

• Good attendance record is required.

• Participate in training to upgrade skills as necessary, to move forward with changing technology.

• Must complete paperwork associated with job.

• Wear personal protective equipment required.

• Perform other associated duties, functions or work as may be need or assigned to continue the productive operation of the company.

• Keep work area clean and orderly.

• Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.

• Upon completion of a six (6) month training period, a CNC Operator (3) will be tested to assure candidate is able to move to next classification.

• MUST BE WILLING TO BE TRAINED.

• Refusal of training can and may result in disqualification and/or disciplinary action.

Position Requirements

Must be able to read and understand written instructions.  Translate verbal orders into action. Good math skills required. Good safety and attendance record required. Must have good communication skills.
