Role Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused professional to support day-to-day Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations. The role will primarily focus on Purchase Order management, coordination with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, and ensuring smooth execution of shipments and consignments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase Order Management
- Create, review, and maintain Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system
- Ensure accuracy of pricing, quantities, and vendor details
- Track PO status and follow up for timely fulfillment
2. 3PL Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for 3PL partners
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Monitor warehouse activities, inventory movement, and dispatch schedules
3. Logistics & Shipment Execution
- Plan and track shipments, consignments, and deliveries
- Coordinate with transporters and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, damages, or discrepancies
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and logistics documents
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
5. Reporting & Operational Support
- Provide regular updates on shipment status, delays, and bottlenecks
- Assist in preparing MIS reports related to SCM operations
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements for efficiency
Key Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Supply Chain / Logistics / Operations
- Strong working knowledge of Purchase Order lifecycle and inventory processes
- Experience working with 3PL providers and logistics coordination
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate in any relevant discipline
- Preferred not mandatory: experience in pharma / healthcare / manufacturing industry
- Exposure to domestic and/or international logistics
- Understanding of inventory controls and warehouse operations
