Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially minded Chartered Accountant to join our Finance team and drive end-to-end P&L management for the business. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence key business decisions, and deliver actionable financial insights that improve profitability and operational performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering, with a passion for translating financial data into strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the monthly P&L performance review process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial results.
- Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and operating expenses to identify key business drivers and opportunities for improved profitability.
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support informed decision-making.
- Deliver insightful variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
- Develop business cases, profitability models, and what-if scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and dashboards for leadership reviews.
- Drive financial discipline by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Support month-end close activities and ensure integrity of financial reporting.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Qualified finance professional.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or P&L Management.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools is an added advantage.
