About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Quality Assurance Assistant in a home health setting. This role supports compliance, documentation accuracy, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with state and federal home health regulations
- Assist with quality assurance audits and performance improvement activities
- Track and report quality metrics, trends, and outcomes
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation and timely corrections
- Support survey readiness and accreditation processes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Assist in policy and procedure updates as needed
Qualifications
- Current, active LPN license in Missouri
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health, hospice, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of home health regulations (e.g., Medicare Conditions of Participation)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OASIS documentation and review
- Familiarity with quality improvement processes
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
