Job Purpose
The Team Leader is responsible for managing a team to ensure efficient processes and improve performance in converting student inquiries and offers into confirmed enrollments. This role involves engaging with prospective students, providing accurate course information, and facilitating a smooth transition to enrollment.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to effectively handle high volumes while maintaining service levels, ensuring productivity and operational efficiency to meet business objectives.
- Serves as the lead contact point and resolution person for admissions-related matters for designated partner centres.
- Meeting enrollment targets through student engagement and support, engaging in high-volume conversion while also assisting the Global Recruitment Team (GRT) by offering admissions guidance and contributing to successful recruitment efforts.
- Manage and oversee the application pipeline, ensuring students progress smoothly from application submission to Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
- Work closely with partner centers to provide admissions updates, address queries, and enhance operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with admissions policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Identify process improvements to streamline admissions procedures for partner centres.
- Support in the leadership of overseas Admissions Team to ensure all applications are processed within SLA, processed accurately and all information is recorded on the necessary system accurately and is up-to-date at all times.
- Responsible for training team members when new arrivals or amendments to entry criteria occur, ensuring that all applications are retrospectively assessed and re-evaluated accordingly.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including recruitment, compliance, and academic teams, to ensure alignment on admissions policies and procedures.
- Be able to report on the number of applications within each status, the amount of time an application has taken to process along with other key metrics to colleagues and Senior Leadership Team and present these in regular meetings.
- To proactively look for improvements or efficiencies in systems and procedures to constantly drive an increase in productivity thus improving customer service and recruitment performance.
- To keep up to date with regional qualification changes, sector development changes, legislation changes e.g. CMA, UKVI, GDPR and other necessary regulations to ensure compliance at all times.
- Develop a deep understanding of each student's educational and career background to recommend relevant courses that align with their goals.
- Plan and manage own workload to ensure that SLA’s are achieved at all times. This will include the need to prioritise own workload on a daily basis, expediting and chasing urgent cases with colleagues across the business when necessary in pursuit of SLA’s. Support in the planning and development of the Regional Recruitment, Admissions and Conversion Strategy with other colleagues from within the prescribed region.

Education / Qualifications
- Educated to a bachelor’s degree or master’s level or currently in Post Graduate level of studies from/at a reputed university.
Knowledge& Experience
- Strong experience in admissions management, preferably within an international education setting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of admissions processes, compliance regulations, and student recruitment trends.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, target-driven, service-focused environment.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Results-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work within clear process guidelines but can make sound decisions where there is no set process.
- The ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English both verbal andwritten formats, ensuring everyone understand important details and processes.
- Ability to present convincingly and enthusiastically to a range of offer holders, enquirers, parents and other relevant stakeholders.

- IT literate with good numeracy skills and attention to detail. Along with Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills

- The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and keep accurate records, ensuring that deadlines are met, and all student interactions are properly documented.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues and finding effective solutions, particularly when guiding students through complex processes like visa applications or course selection.
- The ability to understand students’ backgrounds and career goals, and to confidently recommend relevant courses that align with their aspirations, while persuading them of the value and fit of the programs offered, is essential, along with a solid understanding of UKVI.
