Role Description The Procurement Specialist will manage day-to-day purchasing activities to support healthcare operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of medical supplies, equipment, and services. This part-time, on-site role based in Dubai involves preparing and processing purchase orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and priorities. The role includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, and monitoring vendor performance to align with organizational standards. The Procurement Specialist will track procurement metrics, analyze spending patterns, and contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance with organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Procurement experience, including familiarity with healthcare or clinical supply chains.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Orders management, including accurate documentation and adherence to organizational procedures.
- Candidates should possess Supplier Evaluation capabilities, including assessing quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of vendors.
- Candidates should possess Contract Negotiation skills, including pricing discussions, terms review, and agreement finalization.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor spend, and support informed decision-making.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in an on-site environment.
- Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems and MS Office, along with clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
