Role Description The Owner role at RR EVENTS is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Owner oversees end-to-end wedding and event planning, including client consultations, concept development, budgeting, vendor selection, and on-the-day coordination. This role manages the event calendar, negotiates contracts, and ensures each event meets quality, creativity, and service standards. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring the team, maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors, and resolving issues quickly to safeguard client satisfaction. The Owner also drives business development, marketing initiatives, and strategic decisions to grow the brand while maintaining its personalized, high-touch approach.
Qualifications
- Event planning and coordination skills, including experience managing weddings or similar large-scale social events.
- Strong client relationship management abilities, with a focus on communication, expectation setting, and personalized service.
- Vendor management and negotiation skills, including experience building and maintaining reliable supplier networks.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple events, budgets, and timelines simultaneously.
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to mentor staff and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Business development, sales, and basic financial management skills to drive growth and profitability.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to design unique event concepts and handle unexpected challenges.
- Comfort working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Prior experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field; entrepreneurial or ownership experience is a plus.
- Relevant education in event management, hospitality, business, or a similar discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.
