Company Description The Geological Survey of India (GSI), established in 1851 under the Ministry of Mines, is one of the oldest geological organizations in the world and the second oldest survey institution in India. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Owner role based in Hyderabad. The Owner will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that geological projects and surveys align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. This role involves coordinating with technical teams, administrative staff, and external stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and monitor project activities and resource allocation. The Owner will review key project reports, guide strategic decisions on survey areas and methodologies, and support continuous improvement in processes and safety practices. The position also includes managing budgets, reporting on performance and outcomes, and representing the organization in meetings, reviews, and collaborations with partner institutions.

- Strong leadership, people management, and team coordination skills to guide multidisciplinary geoscience and support teams.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight within a scientific or technical environment.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate technical reports, survey findings, and geoscientific data for decision-making and policy support.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills for working with government, industry, and community partners.
