POWER-tek is in the business of power system engineering for past about 35 years globally. Please see www.powertek-usa.com, we are seeking power-system experts for upcoming technical advisory opportunities in North America.
We are looking to connect with qualified experts in the following areas:
- HVDC / AC transmission planning and grid integration
- HVDC-related system interface studies
- 500 kV AC transmission interface studies
- ±400 kV HVDC planning and system-performance review
- Power-system studies
- EMT study support
- Harmonics and power quality
- Reliability standards / grid codes / market rules
- KPI development and benchmarking
- AC protection / RAS / disturbance review
- Functional requirements, technical specifications, industrial standards, and market-rule interpretation
- Technical compliance matrices and RFP support
- Technical writing and document control
- Project management and delivery coordination
Experience with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, transmission owners, AC/DC interface projects, HVDC-related studies, renewable integration, BESS integration, reliability compliance, or owner’s engineering assignments will be considered an asset.
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated experience in one or more of the expert areas listed above
- Ability to support technical advisory assignments, functional requirements, studies review, specifications, compliance matrices, or project delivery activities
- Availability for remote, hybrid, or project-based advisory support
