Role Description
The Oversee Admission Counsellor position is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The responsibilities include guiding students and parents through the overseas admission process, providing personalized counseling, developing tailored admissions plans, coordinating with universities and supporting the application and visa process. The role will require effective communication, relationship building, and a customer-centric approach to ensure the best possible experience for students seeking international education opportunities.
Key Roles & Responsibilitie
- Counsel students on overseas education options (USA, UK, Ireland, and other destinations)
- Assess student profiles and shortlist universities/programs accordingly
- Guide students through the complete admission process, including documentation and applications
- Coordinate with universities, partners, and internal teams for smooth admissions
- Maintain regular follow-ups with students and update records in CRM
- Participate in education fairs, events, and promotional activities
- Achieve monthly counselling and conversion targets
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to effectively convey guidance and build relationships.
- Customer Service and Sales skills to provide excellent support and recommend suitable programs to students and families.
- Understanding of the Education industry and commitment to promoting study-abroad opportunities.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to handle university applications and visa processes accurately.
- Proficiency in time management and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Preferred but not mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field, along with prior experience in counseling or customer engagement roles.
