Company Description Envision Overseas Education Consultants specializes in guiding students who aspire to study at top international universities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Overseas Education Counsellor role based in Ahmedabad. The counsellor will guide students through program and university selection, providing personalized counseling aligned with their academic background, career goals, and financial considerations. Daily activities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, assisting with application forms and documentation, and coordinating timelines for tests and submissions. The role involves offering accurate information on universities, courses, scholarships, and visa processes, and maintaining regular communication with students and families to address queries and concerns. The counsellor will also support pre-departure orientations, maintain student records in internal systems, collaborate with partner institutions, and participate in seminars, fairs, and outreach initiatives to promote Envision’s services.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge.
- Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office and online research tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in overseas education consulting, admission counseling, or academic advising is an advantage.
- Ability to build trust, work with diverse student backgrounds, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
