Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Overseas Counselor based in the Ahmedabad area. The Overseas Counselor will be responsible for providing personalized career counseling to students, assisting with university applications and documentation, guiding students through the visa process, and offering pre-departure support. The role involves maintaining a strong understanding of international education opportunities, building relationships with students and families, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications
- Career Counseling and Academic Advising skills to guide students in identifying suitable programs and universities based on their goals.
- Strong understanding of university application processes, including documentation, deadlines, and admission requirements.
- Knowledge and experience in student visa processes, including documentation preparation and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and partners.
- Ability to work independently and proficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with international education systems across countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, and Europe.
- Relevant experience in education consultancy or overseas education services will be an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field is preferred.
