Job Title: NOC - Engineer (Network Operations Center) - 2025-03-IT
Location: Cochin
Job Type: Full -Time
Skills Required:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Network Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1year of experience in a Network Operations Center or in a similar role.
Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies.
• Proficiency in the use of network monitoring tools.
• Experience using kali Linux, N-Map, Burp suite, Nessus tool
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Knowledge of security best practices for network infrastructure.
• Hardware Proficiency.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, any certification for a cyber security, CCNA or CCNP. or equivalent will be an advantage.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Should be fluent in English which is mandatory.
Roles and responsibilities:
1.Network Monitoring: Monitor and analyze network performance, ensuring optimal operation and identifying potential issues proactively. Create and implement new monitoring tests. Experience with industry standard networking tools is required.
2. Incident Response: Respond to network incidents, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues promptly.
3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
4. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate activities and share relevant information.
5. Change Management: Implement approved changes to the network infrastructure and ensure changes are documented and communicated appropriately.
6. Performance Optimization: Work to optimize network performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Experience with industry performance software is a plus.
