Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Strategy Consultant to join a high-impact corporate strategy engagement. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the consultant will play a central role in shaping the company’s 3–5 year strategic roadmap, identifying high-impact growth opportunities, and driving cross-functional execution to strengthen market positioning and long-term business performance.

This role is ideal for senior strategy professionals with deep exposure to the automotive, tractor, or agri-equipment manufacturing ecosystem in India.


Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and portfolio assessments to inform the 3–5 year strategic roadmap and annual strategic priorities.
  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities across domestic and export markets, new business models, and product segments; develop robust business cases for investments, new products, and strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive business development initiatives, including market entry strategies, partnerships, and ecosystem plays.
  • Provide program management for critical strategic initiatives by setting up performance dashboards, tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring KPI delivery.
  • Build and institutionalize a market intelligence framework, incorporating industry trends, Voice of Customer insights, and competitive dynamics to surface emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Co-define functional charters with clear action plans, milestones, and success metrics; support capability building through targeted training programs aligned to future strategic priorities.


Skills & Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree, preferably with a focus on strategy, business development, or operations.
  • 15+ years of experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and business development within automotive, tractor, or heavy equipment manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven experience in market entry strategies, M&A evaluation, and business case development for industrial or agricultural products.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian tractor and agri-equipment market, including customer segments, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and executive leadership.


Engagement Details

  • Type: Full-time contractual role
  • Duration: Initial 8-month contract, with strong potential for extension based on performance and ongoing business needs
  • Location: Delhi
