Current Job Openings: Job Location: India (Work From Home) Specialists: 1. Advanced Biology Expertise Sought for AI Training Required expertise and qualifications: Education: Bachelor's, Master's degree or higher (PhD preferred) in Biology or a related field (can be currently enrolled) Research Experience: Strong preference for candidates with peer-reviewed publications, patents, conference presentations, research grants, or industry R&D contributions English Proficiency: Ability to read and write with minimal errors Bonus Skills: AI model training experience is not required but helpful Responsibilities: Evaluate AI-generated content for factual accuracy and relevance in Biology Develop and answer Biology-related questions to refine AI understanding. Front-End Developer Expertise for AI Training Requirements: Strong technical skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue, or similar An eye for world-class design—deep understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and interaction patterns Experience building polished, accessible, and production-ready web interfaces A background in computer science, web development, or digital design (degree not required if experience is exceptional) Outstanding attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly about visual and code quality Responsibilities: Creating and answering questions about front-end development and web design to help train AI models Reviewing and evaluating code generated by AI in JavaScript, React, and other modern front-end frameworks Assessing UI/UX quality, accessibility, and design choices made by AI-generated code Offering expert-level feedback on what makes a user interface intuitive, functional, and beautiful Payment: Currently, pay rates for core project work range from USD $13.50 to $27.50 per hour. 2. Software Engineer for AI Training (Code Quality & Debugging Focus) Requirements: Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, or C++ Professional experience building and maintaining production-grade software repositories Strong knowledge of Git (or similar version control systems), including experience with branching, merging, and collaborative development workflows Hands-on experience conducting code reviews, debugging complex issues, and analyzing large codebases Outstanding attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate technical feedback and coding best practices Responsibilities: Creating and answering technical questions about software engineering concepts, coding best practices, and debugging strategies to help train AI models Reviewing and evaluating code generated by AI in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, and C++ Analyzing code quality, maintainability, and adherence to real-world engineering standards Providing expert-level feedback on version control workflows, collaborative coding practices, and effective debugging techniques Payment: Currently, pay rates for core project work range from USD $13.50 to $27.50 per hour. Payment Process of Outlier: Outlier AI pays for completed work, either hourly or per task. Payment details are provided before each project, and they process payments weekly via PayPal, AirTM, or bank transfer. Onboarding Process: During onboarding, you will be added to a Squad of like-minded contributors, led by an experienced squad lead. Most domains require you to submit a resume and pass a screening exam. Some may require a virtual interview. You will be compensated when you successfully complete the onboarding process. Compensation may vary depending on the domain area. Onboarding usually takes 1 to 5 hours. After the final assessment, expect feedback within 48 hours. The purpose of their onboarding programs is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed on projects and understand the type of work you may see on Outlier. Working Hours: Outlier is very flexible! Some contributors work ~5–10 hrs/week, others 40 hrs/week. There is no minimum or maximumwork as much as you like. Contributors are independent contractors and can choose their hours, even alongside other jobs. Project lengths vary, and contributors may get opportunities to work on additional projects after one ends.
