Opaline Surfaces brings premium natural stone slabs, engineered quartz, and large-format porcelain tiles to distributors, fabricators, and importers across the USA and Canada. With manufacturing in India, Vietnam, Brazil, and the Middle East, we're a globally scaled operation with a lean, high-trust team. We're growing our North American sales footprint and need sharp, driven people to help us build it.
About the role
You'll be the first voice potential customers hear from Opaline. This is a true outbound role — prospecting, cold calling, writing sharp emails, and booking qualified meetings for the sales team. If you're hungry, organised, and genuinely enjoy the chase, this is a role where your effort has a direct line to your earnings.
What you'll own
- Prospecting — research and build targeted lists across interior designers, architects, contractors, kitchen & bath dealers, fabricators and distributors
- Cold outreach — daily cold calls and personalised emails that introduce Opaline and get replies
- Email campaigns — build and run multi-touch outbound sequences; monitor and optimise based on what works
- Meeting booking — qualify prospects, schedule discovery calls, and hand off with thorough notes
- CRM management — keep every call, email, and note logged promptly in Zoho/HubSpot/Salesforce so nothing falls through the cracks
What we're looking for
- 1–2 years of outbound sales, BDR, or business development experience — we'll train the right person
- Comfortable on the phone — you make cold calls without hesitation and handle objections with calm confidence
- Strong written communication — your emails are crisp, human, and actually get replies
- Organised and disciplined — you manage your own pipeline, follow cadences, and don't let things slip
- CRM proficiency — experience with Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar; willingness to learn is fine too
- Coachable and self-motivated — you take feedback well and put in the reps consistently
- Interest in natural stone, surfaces, construction, or interior design is a nice-to-have, not a requirement
