• Daily Target: 25–30 cold calls
• Reports to: Founder's Office
About FocusRealm
FocusRealm is a pre-launch B2B SaaS startup building a mobile-first SOP and staff-training platform for the Indian hospitality industry. We are solving one of the sector's oldest pain points—inconsistent service and compliance gaps caused by high staff turnover. By helping hotels digitise their operating procedures, we enable them to train frontline teams seamlessly.
We work directly with hotel founders, General Managers, and operations heads, building our go-to-market engine from the ground up.
The Role
You will be at the forefront of our outbound sales engine. In this role, you will connect with hotel decision-makers, introduce FocusRealm, qualify interest, and generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for the founding team.
This internship is designed for individuals who want hands-on experience in high-impact B2B SaaS sales and pipeline development within an early-stage startup. Your performance will be evaluated on the quality of leads generated, not just raw call volume.
What You'll Do
• Outbound Outreach: Make 25–30 cold calls daily to hotel prospects (independent hotels, chains, resorts, and hostels) from prepared target lists.
• Gatekeeper Navigation: Identify and connect directly with key decision-makers, including General Managers, F&B Directors, Operations Leads, and Founders.
• Lead Qualification: Evaluate prospects based on FocusRealm's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and gauge their pain points.
• Pipeline Contribution: Generate high-intent SQLs and seamlessly hand them over to the core team to help arrange discovery meetings.
• CRM Management: Maintain clean records of conversations, objections, and lead statuses in our CRM.
• Strategy Iteration: Collaboratively refine call scripts, pitches, and objection-handling strategies based on live market feedback.
• Reporting: Share a brief daily report covering calls made, connects established, qualified leads, and notable market objections.
Working Hours & Schedule
• Time Commitment: 2–3 hours per day, Monday to Friday (Weekends off).
• Core Window: A consistent morning working window (to be aligned upon offer acceptance) to maximize hotel GM availability.
• This role is structured to provide rigorous sales training while maintaining a highly manageable daily time commitment.
Compensation & Incentives
This is a fully incentive-based internship with a reward structure directly linked to the quality and conversion of your leads.
• Base Incentive: ₹100 for every approved SQL that meets FocusRealm’s qualification criteria and is accepted by the sales team for follow-up.
• Milestone Bonus: An additional ₹500 bonus for every block of 10 approved SQLs generated. (Example: 10 approved SQLs = ₹1,500 total payout).
• Quality Control: Duplicate, incomplete, or unqualified leads will not count towards incentives.
Who We're Looking For
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of an additional regional Indian language is a major plus.
• Mindset: Highly resilient, coachable, self-directed, and comfortable handling rejection over the phone.
• Interest: A strong desire to learn B2B SaaS sales, business development, or the hospitality tech ecosystem.
• Infrastructure: Must own a laptop, a reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a functional headset.
Bonus Points
• Prior experience in cold calling, tele-sales, or inside sales.
• Familiarity with sales tools like HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or Google Workspace.
• Inside knowledge or a background in the hospitality/hotel industry.
What You'll Take Away
• Real-World Experience: Practical mastery of B2B lead generation, ICP mapping, pipeline management, and discovery frameworks.
• Executive Mentorship: Direct visibility into the Founder's Office and an inside look at how an early-stage SaaS startup builds its GTM strategy.
• Credentials: A formal Certificate of Completion and a Letter of Recommendation (based on performance).
• Career Growth: Top-performing interns will receive first right of consideration for a permanent, paid role as we scale.
