Role Objective
Drive consistent inbound and outbound deal flow for IT/software services through cold outreach, digital channels, freelance platforms, and government tenders. Own lead generation through early-stage qualification and handoff/closure.
Key Responsibilities
1) Outbound Sales
•Execute high-volume cold emailing and cold calling
•Run LinkedIn outreach campaigns (manual + Sales Navigator)
•Build and maintain target account lists (US, UK, Middle East, India)
•Book qualified meetings and demos for technical team
2) Digital Lead Generation
•Manage email campaigns, LinkedIn content, and basic ads coordination
•Generate inbound leads via landing pages, forms, and campaigns
•Optimize messaging based on response/conversion data
3) Freelance & Marketplace Acquisition
•Actively source projects from Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc.
•Write custom proposals, follow-ups, and close small–mid deals
•Maintain win-rate and response SLAs
4) Government Tenders
•Identify relevant tenders from GeM, eProcurement, state portals
•Prepare EOI/RFP responses, documentation, compliance checklists
•Coordinate with internal teams for technical + commercial submissions
5) Global Opportunity Hunting
•Research and identify IT service opportunities worldwide
•Build partnerships with agencies, startups, and SMEs
•Create a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities across regions
6) CRM & Pipeline Management
•Maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot/Zoho/Excel)
•Track leads, follow-ups, proposals, and deal stages
•Provide weekly pipeline and performance reports
Mandatory Skills
•Proven experience in IT services sales / software development sales
•Hands-on execution of:
-Cold emailing & cold calling
-LinkedIn outreach
-Proposal writing
•Experience with Upwork/Freelancer or similar platforms
•Strong communication and persuasion skills
•Ability to work independently with targets
Preferred Skills
•Experience with government tenders (GeM, RFPs, bidding portals)
•Basic understanding of:
-Web/mobile development
-SaaS / ERP / custom software
•Exposure to international clients (US/Europe markets)
•Knowledge of CRM tools and sales automation
Experience & Qualification
•Experience: 2–5 years (IT Business Development mandatory)
•Education: Any graduate (MBA preferred but not required)
