Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Ad Sales Executive – OTT & Brand Partnerships to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, pitching, negotiating, and closing advertising opportunities with brands, agencies, startups, SMEs, and enterprise clients for OTT advertising campaigns, particularly on JioHotstar and premium digital inventory.
The ideal candidate should have strong relationships with marketing decision-makers and possess excellent sales, communication, and business development skills. This role is revenue-focused and offers substantial earning potential through performance incentives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development: Generate qualified advertising leads and prospect brands, startups, D2C companies, corporates, and agencies. Build relationships with CMOs, Marketing Heads, Brand Managers, Founders, and Media Buyers. Schedule meetings and sales presentations to explore new business opportunities across industries.
OTT Advertising Sales: Pitch OTT advertising solutions on JioHotstar and educate clients about the OTT targeting capabilities. Recommend campaign strategies and media plans. Explain the audience demographics, reach, and performance benefits. Create customized proposals and advertising packages.
Client Acquisition: Convert prospects into paying clients, negotiate commercial terms, manage contracts and campaign approvals, maintain strong post-sale relationships, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Agency Partnerships: Build partnerships with advertising agencies, develop referral networks, coordinate with media planners and buying teams, expand agency reseller relationships.
Revenue Growth: Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, maintain an active sales pipeline, track opportunities through CRM, submit weekly business reports and forecasts.
Target Clients: The executive will actively approach real estate developers, automobile brands, education institutes, hospitals and healthcare chains, tourism and hospitality brands, hotels and resorts, restaurants and food chains, D2C brands, e-commerce companies, fashion brands, jewelry brands, FMCG companies, financial services, insurance companies, startups, government campaigns, event organizers, and entertainment companies.
Required Skills:
Must have strong communication and presentation skills, lead generation expertise, prospecting and cold outreach experience, negotiation skills, relationship building capability, sales closing experience, CRM management knowledge, and proposal creation experience. Preferred skills include media sales experience, OTT advertising knowledge, digital advertising background, and agency sales experience.
- Existing brand contacts, LinkedIn prospecting experience, and email outreach experience are preferred.
- Preferred candidates include those from digital advertising agencies, OTT sales teams, television advertising sales, media buying agencies, marketing agencies, publisher sales teams, influencer marketing agencies, brand partnership teams, and other relevant fields.
- Performance metrics (KPIs) include qualified leads generated, meetings booked, proposals sent, revenue generated, new brands onboarded, client retention rate, monthly billing volume, and agency partnerships acquired.
