Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for an OTR and Drayage Specialist. The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing transportation schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of freight via over-the-road (OTR) and drayage operations. Responsibilities include maintaining communication with carriers, shippers, and receivers, negotiating rates, handling freight documentation, managing compliance, and resolving logistical challenges. The specialist will also build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to optimize shipping efficiency and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Expertise in OTR logistics and drayage operations, including planning and dispatching
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills to liaise with carriers, clients, and internal teams
• Proficiency in using transportation management systems and related logistics software
• Strong problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills to handle complex logistics workflows
• Knowledge of compliance standards, freight documentation, and regulatory requirements in North American logistics
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while achieving goals and deadlines
• Prior experience in freight brokerage and/or supply chain management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field is desirable
