Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight brokerage operations, building and maintaining relationships with shippers and carriers, arranging transportation and dispatching loads, and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include account management, ensuring seamless logistics operations, and addressing any operational challenges that arise.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage for managing logistics operations
- Strong Customer Service skills to build and maintain positive relationships with clients
- Experience in Dispatching and coordinating shipments efficiently
- Skilled in Account Management for maintaining and growing client accounts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote setting
- Proficiency with transportation management software and related tools is a plus
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance is an advantage
