Senior Backend Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our cutting-edge solutions. You will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise in modern software engineering practices, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services using microservices architecture - Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex problems - Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement - Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks to enhance our delivery capabilities - Maintain and improve existing backend systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability - Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices Requirements: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, preferably in a DevSecOps or cloud-native environment - Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js) - Extensive experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) - Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) - Expertise in database design, optimization, and integration (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) toolchains - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills - Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
