Role Description
The OT Manager role is a full-time, on-site position located in Hosur. The OT Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the operating theaters, ensuring efficiency, compliance with health standards, and patient safety. Responsibilities include managing OT schedules, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supervising OT staff, ensuring equipment maintenance, and maintaining inventory of surgical supplies. The OT Manager will also implement quality improvement measures, train staff on protocols, and collaborate with hospital administration to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Operational management skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Experience in team leadership and staff supervision, including training, mentoring, and performance management
- Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Proficiency in maintaining medical equipment, inventory control, and stock management
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Hosur
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field (relevant certifications or a Master’s degree is a plus)
- Prior experience as an OT Manager or in a similar leadership role within an operating theater
