About the role

The Void Planner Co-ordinator plays a vital role in assisting the Property Manager with the management of Orwell's void works. The primary goal is to ensure that all void properties are completed to a high standard, on time, and in strict accordance with Orwell's service standards. Key Responsibilities: Oversee both internal and external contracts, ensuring delivery aligns with agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Maintain high levels of communication and service quality with tenants, housing officers, Orwell operatives, and external contractors. Collaborate with the Property Manager to minimise empty property time and void loss while adhering to established void standards. Work alongside the Head of Repairs and Voids to review and enhance working practices, driving efficiency gains and improved tenant satisfaction. Produce regular reports on void works progress to the Head of Service, ensuring key milestones are set and monitored effectively. Support day-to-day repair & void related works, ensuring compliance with approved budgets and promptly highlighting any variations. Assist others within the department when workflow exceeds capacity. Person Specification… 5 GCSE grades 9-4 or equivalent including English Language and Maths, is essential. Good understanding of housing regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.
