Summary/Objective
Perform clinical and administrative tasks in the office as assigned. Clinical duties may include talking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, and administering medications as directed by physician.
Essential Functions

- Works directly with a provider team as assigned, under the direction of the provider’s team lead to ensure that clinic flow is maintained, provider needs are met, and administrative tasks are processed in a timely manner.
- Patient care responsibilities as assigned such as verifying patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patient for examination by taking vital signs, height and weight.
- Accompanies patients to the exam room and provides exam procedures.
- Documents findings in patient chart.
- Administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering telephones, using various computer applications, updating patient medical records, billing, and coding, filling out forms, and scheduling appointments.
- Setting up instruments and equipment according to office protocols, cleaning exam rooms, instruments, and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control, ordering supplies, and restocking exam room.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional clinical environment. This position will not and may not act independently.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

No travel is expected for this position
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain an active license or certification in one of the following areas: CCMA, LPN, ATC, CNA, MA, RT, or a related clinical license.
