About The Opportunity
A growing healthcare provider in India, we deliver advanced orthopedic care across urban and semi-urban centers, combining surgical excellence with patient-centered recovery protocols. Our surgeons lead multidisciplinary teams to treat complex trauma, joint replacements, sports injuries, and pediatric orthopedic cases—leveraging modern imaging, minimally invasive techniques, and digital rehab tracking for superior outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries including total joint arthroplasty, fracture fixation, arthroscopy, and spinal procedures.
- Lead pre-op planning, intra-op decision-making, and post-op rehabilitation coordination with physiotherapy and pain management teams.
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal disorders using X-ray, MRI, CT, and clinical assessment tools—prioritizing evidence-based care pathways.
- Collaborate with trauma units, ICU, and ER for multi-system injury management and rapid surgical intervention.
- Mentor junior surgeons and residents; contribute to CME programs, audit surgical outcomes, and uphold hospital safety and infection control standards.
- Stay current with global orthopedic advancements and adopt new technologies (e.g., robotic-assisted surgery, biologics, 3D-printed implants) where clinically appropriate.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- MBBS + DNB/MS Orthopedics or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by NMC
- Valid NMC registration and active license to practice in India
- Proven experience in performing 100+ orthopedic surgeries annually (trauma, arthroplasty, arthroscopy)
- Proficiency in interpreting musculoskeletal imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT) and using fluoroscopy during procedures
- Experience with operative documentation, surgical consent, and post-op patient education protocols
- Ability to work in high-volume, multi-specialty hospital settings with rotating on-call schedules
- Preferred
- Fellowship in joint replacement, spine surgery, or sports medicine
- Experience with robotic-assisted orthopedic platforms (e.g., Mako, navio)
- Published research or participation in orthopedic clinical audits or registries
