red care.Role Description The Orthopedic Physiotherapist will deliver hands-on physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, designing individualized rehabilitation programs, leading therapeutic exercises, and applying manual therapy and appropriate modalities. The role involves monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, educating patients and caregivers on home exercises and injury prevention, and collaborating with referring physicians and other healthcare providers. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring consistent presence in the clinic and participation in case discussions, follow-up reviews, and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
- Professional physiotherapy qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT), preferably with specialization or strong exposure in orthopedics.
- Clinical expertise: Experience in orthopedic assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, post-operative rehabilitation, and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
- Patient care skills: Strong clinical reasoning, ability to develop tailored treatment plans, focus on safety and comfort, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Communication and collaboration: Clear verbal and written communication skills, ability to explain treatment plans, and willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Professional attributes: Empathy, ethical conduct, attention to detail in documentation, time management, and readiness to work full time in an on-site Bengaluru clinical setting.
- Additional beneficial skills: Experience with exercise-based rehabilitation technologies, interest in continuing education, basic computer literacy for electronic records, and familiarity with quality and infection control standards.
