Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Orthopaedic Surgeon role based at Sathya Sai Orthopaedic & Multi Speciality Hospital in Bengaluru. The Orthopaedic Surgeon will evaluate and manage patients with musculoskeletal conditions, including conducting outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and preoperative assessments. Daily responsibilities include performing orthopaedic surgeries, participating in spine and trauma care, and overseeing post-operative management and rehabilitation plans. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and adhering to clinical protocols and quality standards. The Orthopaedic Surgeon will also contribute to patient education, clinical case discussions, and continuous improvement of orthopaedic services.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to provide comprehensive clinical assessment and management of patients.
- Demonstrated expertise in Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery, including elective and emergency procedures.
- Clinical experience in Spine care and related surgical interventions.
- Proficiency in general Surgery principles relevant to orthopaedic practice, including trauma and fracture management.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Orthopaedics (MS/DNB or equivalent), with valid medical registration.
- Experience in a hospital or multispecialty setting, preferably in high-volume orthopaedic practice.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
