Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Orthopaedic Surgeon role based in Sanchore. The Orthopaedic Surgeon will diagnose and manage musculoskeletal conditions, perform orthopedic and spine-related surgical procedures, and provide non-surgical treatment plans as appropriate. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and coordinating care with physiotherapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves performing follow-up assessments, monitoring recovery, advising on rehabilitation protocols, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with clinical standards. The Orthopaedic Surgeon will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support the delivery of safe, patient-centered in-home and facility-based orthopaedic care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to diagnose and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Expertise in Orthopedic Surgery and Surgery, including pre-operative evaluation, operative management, and post-operative care.
- Specialized skills in Orthopedics and Spine, with experience in managing spinal disorders and related procedures.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and completed residency or specialization in Orthopaedics; valid medical license and relevant board/registry certification as required.
- Proven experience as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in a clinical or hospital setting, preferably with exposure to in-home or community-based care.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and families.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, ethical standards, and continuous professional development.
- Willingness to work on-site in Sanchore and adapt to the needs of a growing health care service environment.
