Job Description – ORMB Developer
Experience: 7 – 10 Years
Location: Remote (Candidates from any location can apply)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ORMB Developer to design, develop, and enhance solutions using Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) and Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF). The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Java technologies, database systems, and billing systems, with the ability to contribute to enterprise-level implementations and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom solutions using ORMB and OUAF framework.
- Develop and maintain components such as algorithms, batch jobs, business components, BPA scripts, UI maps, zones, and business services.
- Work across multiple process areas including Customer Management, Pricing, Billing, Payments, and Delinquency.
- Develop and manage inbound and outbound batch interfaces and APIs for integration with external systems and customer portals.
- Ensure development, testing, and deployment of system components following best practices.
- Manage application environments including installation, configuration, upgrades, and deployment using CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Agile environments including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in ORMB, OUAF, or Oracle Utilities applications such as CC&B.
- Strong programming experience in Core Java / J2EE.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
- Experience with Hibernate framework and MVC architecture.
- Experience working with OUAF batch framework and understanding of multithreading concepts.
- Strong understanding of OUAF data model.
- Good knowledge of pricing and rate configurations within ORMB.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in healthcare insurance, financial services, or banking domain projects.
- Experience developing APIs and system integrations with external applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including SCRUM ceremonies.
- Experience with enterprise billing lifecycle processes including transaction feed management, billing, rating, pricing, invoicing, settlement, payments, collections, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Functional Knowledge
- Understanding of ORMB modules such as Policy/Plan/Membership, Customer Management, Pricing, Billing, Payments, and Delinquency.
- Ability to support enterprise implementations, enhancements, and integrations across billing platforms.
