The candidate must be based in Hyderabad and should be comfortable working in a fast-moving 0 to 1 startup ecosystem. This role requires field work, direct customer interaction, partner development, and strong ownership.
The candidate should be ready to start immediately or within one week. Weekend work may be required based on business needs, and compensatory off can be provided when applicable.

We are looking for experienced sales professionals who can help us build strong customer channels across Hyderabad, including premium residential communities, organic stores, retail outlets, cafés, subscription customers, institutions, and bulk buyers.
Role Overview
The Organic Produce Sales Executive/Manager will be responsible for generating sales, building customer relationships, opening new channels, and driving repeat business for URU Farms’ organic and natural product range.
This is not just a routine sales job. The candidate must be comfortable educating customers, explaining product quality, building trust, handling objections, and developing long-term relationships with customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard potential customers across Hyderabad, including gated communities, premium households, organic stores, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, wellness centers, and institutions.
- Generate sales for URU Farms products such as wheat flour, pulses, besan, channa, channa dal, A2 bilona ghee, and other farm-based staples.
- Build and manage relationships with retail partners, apartment communities, bulk buyers, and subscription customers.
- Conduct product sampling, customer demos, society activations, and direct selling initiatives.
- Explain the value of natural farming, native grains, stone-ground processing, and farm-origin products to customers.
- Create daily sales plans, visit schedules, lead trackers, and follow-up reports.
- Collect customer feedback on pricing, packaging, quality, and product preferences.
- Convert trial customers into repeat customers and subscription-based customers.
- Coordinate with operations and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery and stock availability.
- Support the founder/team in building early-stage sales processes, pricing strategies, and market feedback loops.
- Track sales performance, customer acquisition, repeat orders, and channel-wise revenue.
- Work on weekends or event days when required for customer activations, stalls, exhibitions, and community campaigns.
Candidate Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, retail sales, FMCG, organic food, fresh produce, staples, dairy, or D2C consumer products.
- Strong field sales experience in Hyderabad is preferred.
- Ability to sell premium or trust-based products through explanation, relationship building, and customer education.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with daily field visits, lead generation, follow-ups, and sales reporting.
- Experience working with supermarkets, organic stores, cafés, restaurants, apartments, or community sales is an advantage.
- Must be target-driven, disciplined, and comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment.
- Should be able to work independently with ownership and minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, WhatsApp Business, CRM tools, or sales tracking is preferred.
- Interest in organic food, natural farming, healthy eating, or farm-to-table products is a strong plus.

Compensation

Expected range: ₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month, depending on experience.
