Company
Orenda is on a mission to make the grid more efficient with batteries and software. We build and operate energy storage projects in dense urban environments to bridge the gap between renewables and electricity consumption.
Orenda’s Corporate Technology Division administers the company’s core SaaS applications and devices, enforces cybersecurity best practices, and delivers targeted improvements that make the team more effective.
We are a dynamic, NYC-based startup at the forefront of a new industry. We are seeking highly motivated and incredibly talented individuals who wish to contribute to our important mission.
Role
Orenda is looking to hire a Corporate Technology Admin to join our Corporate Technology Division. This individual will take operational ownership of Orenda’s day-to-day technology administration, proactively identify opportunities for new technologies and trainings, help develop and improve custom SaaS applications, and raise the organization’s security posture through consistent processes and strong documentation.
This role will work closely with teams across the company to resolve issues quickly, maintain reliable access and configurations, and identify improvements that reduce friction for employees.
What You’ll Do
- Business Systems Development: Develop, modify, and maintain Orenda’s Salesforce, construction management, and ERP system features (from scratch and through iterative improvements).
- SaaS Administration: Administer Orenda’s SaaS applications end-to-end, including access lifecycle (provisioning and deprovisioning), license and billing management, configuration, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Device Administration: Administer company devices, including provisioning, device management tooling, endpoint security posture, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Security Best Practices: Enforce cybersecurity policies and general best practices through configuration standards, periodic reviews, and clear employee guidance.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify, propose, and execute improvements to configurations, workflows, and automations that improve reliability, security, and employee efficiency.
- Ticketing & Support: Build and operate a lightweight internal ticketing workflow for access changes, SaaS and device support, and routine requests. Track and improve response times.
- Documentation & Enablement: Create and maintain IT guidelines, runbooks, and internal training documentation. Provide user enablement for common tools and processes.
- Operational Reporting: Monitor usage, costs, and key operational metrics (ticket response, onboarding accuracy, compliance checks). Surface trends and propose improvements.
