About the Opportunity
Recruit Forge is hiring for its client, Finch IT Solutions, for the role of Order Processing & Supply Chain Specialist. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in order management, logistics coordination, and vendor handling who can ensure smooth end-to-end supply chain operations in a dynamic business environment.
Role Overview
As an Order Processing & Supply Chain Specialist, you will manage customer orders, create and track purchase orders, coordinate logistics, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing
- Process and manage customer orders from receipt to fulfillment
- Monitor order status and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with sales teams to maintain smooth order flow
Purchase Order Management
- Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory and business needs
- Verify purchase order details including pricing and quantities
- Track and follow up to ensure on-time delivery
Logistics Coordination
- Manage shipping, tracking, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and warehouses
- Monitor transportation costs and identify cost-saving opportunities
Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms
- Resolve issues related to quality, pricing, and delivery
- Maintain accurate vendor documentation and records
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in order processing, logistics, or supply chain roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word)
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Zoho Books
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
