Head of Talent Acquisition

As the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will lead our rapidly scaling talent acquisition function and build a world-class team that attracts and secures top talent to drive Orbital's ambitious growth. You will be responsible for defining and delivering the talent strategy, leading a high-performance recruiting function, and partnering closely with the executive team to build the talent pipeline and achieve the company's hiring goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with Orbital's growth objectives - Building and leading a high-performing talent acquisition team, ensuring they are equipped with the right tools, processes, and training to succeed - Partnering with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop creative sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and secure top talent - Optimizing the candidate experience and ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive hiring process - Driving continuous improvement in recruiting metrics and KPIs, and using data to inform decisions and drive results - Staying up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal/compliance requirements in talent acquisition - Collaborating with the People team on employer branding, employee value proposition, and other talent initiatives Your profile: - 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing talent teams - Expertise in end-to-end recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to offer negotiation and onboarding - Strong business acumen and the ability to partner effectively with executive leadership - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills - Proficiency in using recruitment tools and technologies to drive efficiency and data-driven decision making - Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus - Passion for Orbital's mission and a commitment to building a world-class team
