The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) serves some of Orange County’s most vulnerable student populations and provides support and mandated fiscal oversight to 28 school districts serving more than 600 schools and approximately 475,000 students. Job Summary

The Orange County Department of Education is seeking a LIFTED Leadership Coaching Administrator to lead a countywide coaching program that strengthens the instructional, cultural, and systems leadership of school site administrators. This role ensures high-quality, standards-aligned coaching and partners with districts to support leadership development. Centered on equity, communication, and continuous improvement, the Administrator will help shape a strong leadership culture across Orange County schools.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: • Master's degree in education, education administration, behavior management, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of successful K-12 site leadership experience • District-level experience preferred Licenses, Certificates, and Special Requirements: • A valid California credential authorizing instruction or service in a public school program • A valid California Administrative credential There are supplemental question in the application. Describe how you have used data to inform leadership development or systems improvement.

Salary Info

Certificated Management Range 36: Placement based on review of education and experience.
