Summary:
The Oracle Utilities WAM Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end implementation, support, and optimization of Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management solutions. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, solution architecture knowledge, and hands-on expertise in WAM modules to drive successful project delivery.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Oracle Utilities WAM implementation and support projects.
Own solution design, system configuration, data migration, and integration with peripheral systems (e.g., CC&B, MWM, GIS, SCADA).
Conduct requirement analysis workshops and translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
Oversee WAM configuration including Asset lifecycle management, Work Management, Inventory, Preventive Maintenance, Inspections, and Mobile integrations.
Ensure alignment with utility industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Drive best practices in work planning, resource optimization, asset lifecycle tracking, preventive maintenance, and reliability management.
Manage a team of consultants, guide technical and functional resources, conduct reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical architecture, integration, reporting, infrastructure).
Manage project timelines, risk mitigation, and escalation handling.
Lead client communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
Support testing strategy (SIT, UAT), training, and hypercare/post go-live activities.
Drive continuous process improvements, contribute to solution accelerators and reusable assets.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of Oracle Utilities WAM modules:
Work Management, Asset Management, Inventory & Supply Chain, Preventive Maintenance, Inspections, Mobile WAM.
Prior experience in full-cycle implementation projects (at least 2–3 end-to-end WAM projects).
Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Framework (OUAF).
Knowledge of WAM integrations with CC&B, MWM, GIS, ERP, EBS, and third-party systems.
Understanding of Asset lifecycle management, work scheduling, field operations, and utility best practices.
Strong experience in leading teams and client-facing engagements.
Familiarity with utility domain (Electric/Gas/Water/Wastewater).
Experience with cloud/on-prem architecture models is an advantage.
Good understanding of SQL, data migration, and integration mechanisms (SOA, WebServices).
PMP / ITIL / Oracle Certifications are preferred.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
