Role Description The Oracle Utilities Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) professional will work on configuration, customization, and support of CC&B solutions for utility clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing CC&B workflows, performing system configuration and integration activities, and supporting testing and deployment. The role involves collaborating with business and technical stakeholders, troubleshooting issues, optimizing processes, and preparing documentation for configurations and enhancements. This is a contract role. It is a hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Business Process analysis and design, with the ability to translate utility operations into CC&B configurations.
- Experience in Consulting activities, including requirement gathering, stakeholder communication, and solution recommendations.
- Knowledge of Oracle Applications and Oracle Utilities CC&B, including configuration, customization, and support.
- Familiarity with Integration concepts and tools, such as web services, APIs, and middleware for connecting CC&B with other enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience with utility industry processes (billing, customer service, meter-to-cash) is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in hybrid environments, coordinate with distributed teams, and manage deliverables within contractual timelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; relevant Oracle Utilities or Oracle Applications certifications are a plus.
