Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Oracle implementation and transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Drive Oracle Cloud/EBS implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Conduct project planning, estimation, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Track project progress using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and escalation processes.
- Ensure successful execution of:
- Requirement gathering
- Solution design
- Development
- Testing
- Data migration
- Go-live
- Hypercare support
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and status reporting.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with governance standards.
- Monitor project KPIs and delivery performance metrics.
- Support change management, user adoption, and training initiatives.
- Coordinate UAT, cutover planning, and deployment activities.
- Manage offshore/onshore delivery teams and stakeholder expectations.
Required Skills
- Strong experience managing Oracle implementation or support projects.
- Knowledge of Oracle applications such as:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Oracle SCM
- Oracle HCM
- Oracle EPM
- Oracle EBS
- Oracle CX
- Experience with project management methodologies:
- Agile
- Scrum
- Waterfall
- Hybrid delivery models
- Expertise in project planning tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing budgets, project financials, and vendor coordination.
- Understanding of ERP implementation lifecycle and SDLC processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications preferred.
- Oracle Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience in large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Strong presentation and executive communication skills.
Experience
- 8–15 years of overall IT/ERP experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of Oracle project management experience.
- Experience managing global or multi-country Oracle implementations preferred.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Oracle Cloud migration programs.
- Knowledge of integration, reporting, and data migration strategies.
- Exposure to DevOps and release management processes.
- Experience in managed services or AMS engagements.
