Job Title: Oracle_PLSQL_Developer

Experience- 7–8 years
Role Summary:
The Oracle PL/SQL Developer will design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL programs and database objects, perform data modeling and migrations, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL for performance. The role works closely with application teams to deliver robust, efficient database solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and maintain PL/SQL code, including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
● Design and implement relational data models and database schemas.
● Perform data profiling, cleansing, and migration from legacy systems to modern applications.
● Use Oracle Data Pump, SQL*Loader, and related tools for data extraction and loading.
● Optimize SQL and PL/SQL for performance; analyze execution plans and tune queries.
● Create and maintain indexes, partitioning strategies, and other performance structures.
● Implement error handling, logging, and exception management in database code.
● Collaborate with developers and analysts to translate business requirements into database solutions.
● Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews and testing.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
● 7–8 years of hands‑on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
● Strong knowledge of Oracle DDL/DML concepts and PL/SQL programming.
● Experience with data modeling tools (ERWIN, SQL Developer Data Modeler) and TOAD.
● Proficiency in data extraction and migration tools (Oracle Data Pump, SQL*Loader).
● Solid SQL tuning and performance optimization skills.
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
● Experience with ETL frameworks and data warehousing concepts.
● Familiarity with source control and CI/CD for database deployments.
● Knowledge of application integration patterns and RESTful services.
● Exposure to cloud databases and cloud migration projects.
Performance Indicators:
● Quality and performance of PL/SQL deliverables.
● Successful completion of data migration projects on schedule.
● Reduction in query execution times and resource consumption.
