Role Description The Oracle PeopleSoft Developer will design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications that support core business and HR processes. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, configuring and customizing PeopleSoft modules, developing new components and interfaces, and resolving application issues in collaboration with functional and technical teams. The role involves creating and optimizing reports, performing unit and system testing, and ensuring adherence to security, performance, and compliance standards. The developer will also support production environments, participate in upgrades and patches, and document technical designs and configurations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, working closely with stakeholders to deliver stable and efficient PeopleSoft solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Oracle PeopleSoft development skills, including PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
- Candidates should possess skills in SQL/PLSQL, relational databases (such as Oracle DB), and performance tuning for large-scale enterprise applications.
- Candidates should possess skills in requirements analysis, technical design, documentation, and collaboration with functional and business teams.
- Candidates should possess skills in testing, troubleshooting, incident management, and production support within PeopleSoft environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in HR, payroll, or finance domain understanding, with the ability to map business processes to PeopleSoft functionality.
- Relevant experience with PeopleSoft HCM or FSCM modules, upgrades, patches, and integrations with third-party systems is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment are required.
