Oracle Cloud Integration Specialist (OIC) – ERP + SCM

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Integration professional (5–8 years) with strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and functional understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle SCM / WMS. The role involves designing, building, and supporting integrations between Oracle Fusion modules (ERP/SCM/WMS) and external enterprise applications using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle adapters, and event-driven patterns. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable integrations.

Key Responsibilities

OIC Integration Development & Delivery

• Design and develop integrations using OIC (Orchestrations/Integrations), including synchronous and asynchronous patterns.
• Build integrations using Oracle adapters (ERP Cloud, REST, SOAP, FTP, DB, Kafka if applicable) and custom REST/SOAP services.
• Develop mappings (XSLT / mapper), transformations, enrichment, and routing logic.
• Implement error handling, retries, fault policies, logging, tracking, and monitoring dashboards.
  
  

ERP/SCM/WMS Integration & Functional Alignment

• Work with Oracle ERP Cloud modules (e.g., Financials, Procurement, Projects—based on your scope) and SCM/WMS processes such as:
• Order Management / Inventory / Shipping / Receiving
• WMS inbound/outbound, picking, packing, replenishment
• Procurement flows (PO, receipts, invoices), supplier integration
• Understand data objects and business events for SCM/WMS and ensure integrations align with business process flows.
  

API & Cloud Integration Architecture

• Consume and publish REST and SOAP APIs, including versioning, security, pagination, throttling, and idempotency patterns.
• Implement event-driven integrations using Business Events, callbacks, and/or scheduled orchestration.
• Participate in integration architecture reviews and contribute to best practices for reusability, performance, and maintainability.
  
  

Security, Deployment, and Support

• Configure OIC connections securely (OAuth, Basic Auth, certificates, wallets).
• Support deployments across environments (DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD) using standard release processes.
• Perform production support: monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Create technical documentation, integration specs, interface catalogs, and runbooks.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 5–8 years of integration experience, with strong hands-on OIC implementation experience.
• Solid experience integrating Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle SCM / WMS (at least one end-to-end project).
• Strong knowledge of:
• REST/SOAP web services
• OIC integrations, connections, and adapters
• Data mapping and transformation (OIC mapper, XSLT concepts)
• Error handling, monitoring, and operational support
• Experience with integration patterns (sync/async, pub-sub, file-based, API-led).
  

Good-to-Have

• Experience with Oracle ATP/DB, SQL, and basic PL/SQL.
• Exposure to Oracle SaaS security model (roles, privileges) and integration security.
• Experience with OCI services (API Gateway, Streaming, Functions) is a plus.
• Familiarity with EBS / legacy ERP integrations is an advantage.
• Understanding of EDI / B2B flows (if relevant).
  
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
