Oracle Cloud OIC / PaaS Consultant
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud OIC / PaaS Consultant with strong hands on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PaaS services, VBCS, and Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP). The role involves designing, developing, and supporting enterprise level integrations and extensions for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. The candidate should be capable of independently handling complex integrations, production incidents, and project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations (REST/SOAP, File Server, Scheduled integrations).
- Build and maintain Oracle PaaS extensions using VBCS, ATP, and REST APIs.
- Develop VBCS applications for UI based extensions and operational dashboards.
- Design and optimise ATP database objects, including tables, views, packages, procedures, and functions.
- Write and optimise SQL and PLSQL for integrations, reports, and data validations.
- Handle production support, including incident analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and fixes.
- Work closely with functional teams, business users, and third party vendors.
- Ensure integrations follow Oracle best practices, security standards, and performance guidelines.
Required Skills & Experience Must
- 5 years of experience on Oracle Cloud technologies
- Handson experience with: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle PaaS, VBCS, ATP, SQL / PLSQL
- Strong experience in: REST & SOAP web services, JSON payloads, File based integrations (SFTP), Experience integrating Oracle Fusion modules (Finance, SCM, HCM – preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently on critical issues and tight timelines
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
