Oracle HCM Agentic Design & Support Lead
Job Summary
The Oracle HCM Agentic Design & Support Lead is responsible for designing, governing, and supporting AI‑enabled and agent‑like capabilities across the Oracle Cloud HCM platform. This role ensures that embedded AI features—such as skills inference, recommendations, Oracle Digital Assistant, and guided workflows—are implemented responsibly, operate within clear decision boundaries, and deliver measurable enterprise value.
Positioned at the intersection of HR, Corporate IT, data governance, and responsible AI, this role focuses on designing supervised autonomy, enabling intelligent workflows, and supporting AI‑driven behaviors in steady‑state operations—without compromising compliance, ethics, or human accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Agentic Design & Enablement
- Design and govern agentic behavior patterns across Oracle HCM (recommend, guide, trigger, escalate—not replace human decisions)
- Enable Oracle‑delivered intelligent capabilities, including:
- Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA)
- Guided Journeys
- Skills Cloud and skills inference
- AI‑driven recruiting and talent recommendations
- Personalized learning and career mobility insights
- Define decision boundaries and human‑in‑the‑loop controls for AI‑assisted processes
AI Use Case Ownership
- Partner with HR COEs to identify and prioritize high‑value, low‑risk AI use cases, such as:
- Skills visibility and workforce mobility
- Recruiting efficiency and candidate matching
- Learning personalization and development pathways
- Employee self‑service and HR case deflection
- Translate AI capabilities into well‑defined product outcomes and success metrics
Data Readiness & Intelligence Foundations
- Ensure data quality and structure required for effective AI behavior, including:
- Worker, job, position, and skills data
- Learning content alignment and taxonomy governance
- Collaborate with HR and IT data owners to improve AI signal reliability over time
Operational Support & Run‑State Ownership
- Define Tier 2 / Tier 3 support models for AI‑enabled HCM features
- Troubleshoot issues such as:
- Unexpected or low‑quality recommendations
- Skills inference inaccuracies
- User trust and explainability concerns
- Distinguish data issues from model behavior and process design issues
- Monitor AI feature adoption, effectiveness, and stability
Governance, Risk & Responsible AI
- Apply responsible AI principles in HR technology:
- Transparency and explainability
- Bias awareness and mitigation
- Appropriate human oversight
- Partner with Legal, Privacy, Security, and HR leadership to ensure:
- Compliance with labor regulations and data privacy laws
- Ethical use of AI in hiring, mobility, and talent decisions
- Maintain documentation of AI capabilities, decision constraints, and governance controls
Change Management & Adoption
- Support change management strategies specific to AI‑enabled HR capabilities
- Educate stakeholders on:
- What AI does vs. does not do
- Where human decision‑making remains mandatory
- Partner with training teams to build confidence and trust in AI‑assisted workflows
Vendor & Roadmap Engagement
- Stay current on Oracle’s AI and HCM roadmap
- Assess new AI features for:
- Enterprise readiness
- Compliance risk
- Data dependencies
- Advise Product Owners and HR leadership on adoption timing and scope
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 6–10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud HCM
- 3+ years in one or more of the following roles:
- HCM Product Owner or Platform Owner
- HR Technology Lead
- Digital HR or Workforce Transformation role
- Experience supporting Oracle HCM in a large, enterprise environment
Functional & Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules, especially:
- Core HR
- Recruiting
- Talent & Learning
- Familiarity with:
- Skills Cloud and skills‑based organization concepts
- Oracle Digital Assistant
- Guided Journeys
- OTBI / BI Publisher (conceptual understanding)
- Understanding of HR data models and governance
AI & Systems Thinking Skills
- Practical understanding of AI‑enabled enterprise systems (not data science)
- Ability to design supervised, explainable, and bounded AI behavior
- Strong analytical thinking to identify root causes across data, process, and AI logic

- Oracle HCM Cloud certifications
