Job Description – Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant (Core HR / Payroll / Talent)
Position Overview

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion HCM Functional Consultant with 10–12 years of expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and Application Management Support (AMS). The consultant will be responsible for leading and supporting Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management modules, ensuring successful project delivery, system optimization, and business process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end implementation and AMS activities for Oracle Fusion HCM modules including Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and convert them into functional specifications.
- Configure and maintain HCM modules such as Workforce Structures, Payroll Elements, Payroll Costing, Talent Profiles, Performance Management, and Succession Planning.
- Manage payroll configurations including payroll elements, balances, costing structures, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Support data migration and uploads using HDL/HSDL and perform data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Conduct SIT/UAT testing, coordinate defect resolution, and provide post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, BI reports, OTBI/BIP reporting, and custom developments.
- Handle incident management, service requests, change requests, and enhancements within defined SLA timelines.
- Support quarterly Oracle patch testing, impact analysis, and communication with business stakeholders.
- Provide functional guidance, end-user training, and maintain project and support documentation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve HR and payroll business processes.
- Ensure system configurations align with organizational policies and compliance requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM implementations and AMS support.
- Knowledge of Workforce Structures, Payroll Processing, Costing, and Statutory Compliance.
- Experience with HDL/HSDL data loading tools.
- Expertise in SIT, UAT, defect tracking, and issue resolution.
- Good understanding of Oracle Fusion integrations, OTBI, and BI Publisher reports.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, HR, or related field.
- Oracle Fusion HCM certification is preferred.
- Experience working in global payroll and HR environments is an added advantage.
