We are looking for an experienced
Oracle Cloud Financials Functional Consultant with strong expertise in
Oracle Fusion Purchasing, Fixed Assets, and Project Financial Management (PPM). The ideal candidate will act as a
Subject Matter Expert (SME), driving end-to-end functional design, implementation, and optimization of financial and procurement processes within large-scale ERP transformations.
Key Responsibilities Oracle Cloud Purchasing (P2P)
- Act as SME for Oracle Fusion Cloud Purchasing
- Lead requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design for procurement processes
- Design and implement end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle with focus on upstream purchasing
- Configure Oracle Cloud Purchasing modules, including:
- Requisition creation & approval workflows
- Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle & approvals
- Supplier communication & document styles
- Procurement business units & buyer controls
- Ensure seamless integration with:
- Accounts Payable
- Inventory
- Supplier Management
- Define and document:
- Business process flows
- BR100 documents
- Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
Oracle Fixed Assets (FA)
- Act as SME for Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets
- Configure and manage:
- Asset additions, adjustments, transfers, retirements, and reclassifications
- Depreciation methods, calendars, and accounting rules
- Asset categories and mass additions
- Handle:
- Period close activities
- Reconciliation and asset accounting controls
- Integrate Fixed Assets with Accounts Payable and General Ledger
Oracle Projects (PPM) – Financials
- Provide functional expertise in Oracle Project Financial Management (PPM)
- Manage:
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Accruals and accounting for project-related spend
- Settlement and financial validation of promotional/marketing costs
- Ensure alignment with financial accounting and reporting requirements
Cross-Functional & Compliance
- Drive integration across P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and R2R (Record-to-Report) cycles
- Ensure compliance with:
- Internal controls
- Audit requirements
- SOX regulations
- Work in Banking, Financial Services, or large enterprise environments
Required Skills & Qualifications Functional Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Purchasing
- Oracle Fixed Assets
- Oracle Project Financials (PPM)
- Deep understanding of:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Record-to-Report (R2R) processes
Oracle Cloud Implementation
- Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations
- Expertise in:
- Requirement gathering & solution design
- System configuration
- Functional documentation (BR100, FDD)
Compliance & Controls
- Strong knowledge of:
- SOX compliance
- Audit processes
- Financial controls in procurement and asset accounting
Integration Knowledge
- Experience integrating modules across:
- Purchasing
- Accounts Payable
- Fixed Assets
- Projects
- General Ledger
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall delivery models
- Knowledge of end-to-end ERP transformation programs
- Familiarity with reporting tools and analytics in Oracle Cloud
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Oracle Cloud certifications in Financials or SCM
- Experience in global implementations or multi-entity organizations
